Allison stared up at the blue and yellow sign, sighing. She still felt uneasy about AKEA, even if Tobias worked there. Getting out of the car, she stretched her back legs, which usually cramped up from sitting too long. Settling her fur down, she closed the door and locked it, shouldering her purse. Her red hair hung past her shoulders, complimenting her purple shirt. She didn't bother wearing bottoms today, Allison figured stockings would do just fine. She wore her favorite bell collar, and one could see a bit of her undershirt poking through her top.

The cat-taur sauntered into AKEA, ignoring the various signs advertising different sales in other departments. Allison looked around, deciding she might as well find something for her sister, Kelly, and it might help her find Tobias, who she promised she'd visit.

"Hello how may I help you today?" asked a bored voice from a nearby customer information desk.

Allison turned. "Hi, I'm... not really here to buy anything," She said to the person at the desk, who's back was turned to her for the moment. "I'm looking for a friend of mine who works here, Tobias? I was hoping you could point me to what area he's working in today." She felt sorry for the person who had to greet everyone, working here would not be something she wanted to do for a living, hell, even as a part time job.

The employee, a male wolf-taur with sholder length black hair, glanced over at her, raising a hand to signal that she should wait. It was Tobias, and he was talking into a headset telephone.

She mentally kicked herself for thinking that Tobias was talking to her, but waited patiently for Tobias to be finished. Slightly embarrassed, but knowing she'd laugh this off later, Allison hung by the help desk for Tobias to finish up.

After a tense conversation with what was clearly a dissatisfied customer, Tobias hung up. Turning to Allison, he wearily smiled and mockingly asked "Welcome to AKEA Cardiff, how may I help you today?"

Allison smiled back.

"I take it you like your job?" She asked, smirking. "Is this what you do all day, answer the phone and greet customers?"

"Sometimes," replied Tobias with a heavy sigh, "Sometimes I have to help with the stock check, and others I man the desk in the book section."

"And are most of the customers like the guy you were just talking to?" She asked. "Unhappy with the... 'side effects' of their products?" She looked around, the place was busy, as usual. "Do you get a discount?" She realized.

"Yeah, I get a 50% discount," replied Tobias, "And actually, we get very few complaints, in fact, we get a lot of positve responces."

Allison nodded.

"Great," She smiled. "So... Kelly's birthday... well, it's my birthday too, but her birthday is coming up. Do you know where I could find something for her?" She asked hopefully.

"Womens clothing one mile in that direction, costumes, two miles that way, toys half a mile that way and general 'ooh shiney' things ten miles that way," replied Tobias, pointing out each direction in turn.

"Holy crap!" Allison exclaimed at each direction. "How do you know all of that? Do you guys have... I don't know, warp zones or something for me to get there faster? Or a bus system?" She asked jokingly.

Tobias shrugged. "You just walk and somehow you get there in no time."

"Well... I'll browse the clothing and costumes and make my way over to the shiny things in a bit," Allison said. "Thanks for your help. When do you get off? I'll come back and we can leave together."
